A Message I Just Received and My Response
| Liberal: | Democrats are totally jacked up and backwards. Yes. This is obvious. But if you really, honest to God think that the Republican party is an iota more sane, or less corrupt than you are either in an incredibly potent state of denial or the exact same as the ignorant liberal who unabashedly backs up everything his Party does. Both parties represent the EXACT same interests. Their only differences are superficial and played up by the media to create a debate that really isn’t there, so as to maintain the status quo. I think the focus of your blog should be about corruption, insanity, and irrationality, not “left” vs. “right”. Because in reality, both parties are far right of center (to be fair, there are some horribly mutated, pervasive leftist elements in our government too, its just a cornucopia of waste and inefficiency). |
| Me: | There is nothing about Obama or Pelosi or Reid that's NOT idealogically liberal. He's a radical leftist, Obama. They all are. Both parties have been shifting leftward, which is why the moderate Republicans of today almost mirror the policies of JFK. That's a leftward shift. And the great conservatives of yesteryear are so much more conservative than today's Republicans. Right vs. Left is a legit thing. The left supports amnesty, the right does not. The left supports infanticide, the right does not. The left supports Constitutional rights for non-citizens and terrorists, the right does not. The left supports multiculturalism, the right does not. The left supports outlawing guns, the right does not. The left supports extra rights for certain people depending on the color of their skin, sexual preference, gender, class, etc., the right does not. I can go on, but why kick a man when he's down? |
