THIS

Yep.

Interesting way of putting it.  After all, the woman can choose to have sex.  She can choose to let the man ejaculate inside her.  But even though it is all her body and her choice, the physiological process that mixes the sperm with the egg, fertilizes the cells and stimulates the evolution of the cells into a zygote; takes place entirely without her conscious choice.
She then gestates according to the natural physiological process, which is entirely automatic; leaving her with a choice to abort or keep the child.  She still HAS the choice to abort.  She still HAD the choice to screw some guy and let him fertilize her.  But the product and “consequence” of the choices occurs entirely outside her control.
And then, there is the legal process that occurs, some of which is also outside her control.  The hospital will want to list a father.  The state will want to ID the child with an SSN.  The social services and child services will want to make sure the child is cared for and provided for.  That often requires administrative law and the court system to enforce child paternity, support, visitation, etc.
Or, she can just go to a doctor and have it sucked out with a vacuum annd flushed down a sink.  Which leaves a potential child dead, a potential adoptive or custodial parent without a choice to raise the child, etc.
What is forgotten is that her right to make the choices she did, affected more than her.  That is the part that needs to be owned up to.  That is the part women fear.  And that is why we have them defining it as just a clump of cells.
