Jesus told us to do it out of charity. Not because someone is stealing it. He was against theft. Being forced to give is not loving. Also, I want everybody else to note the irony of what this girl is saying. She’s saying that I’m selfish for not letting people take my money. She wants my money, I say no, tell her to get a job, and I’m selfish. SHE wants MY money. And I’M selfish.
