LibertarianTaoist used the phrase “when Gary Johnson is elected.” Ha.
So I sent him the following message:
You say when Gary “What’s Good for Me Is Good for You” Johnson wins the election. That’s quite confident of you. Naive, rather. If you actually believe that, will you be willing to make a public bet? The bet being that if he wins, I will PayPal you $50, and if he loses, you will PayPal me $50? Actually, I’ll make it even better for you: if he wins, I will PayPal you $100, and if he doesn’t win, you’ll PayPal me only $20. And we’ll make this public so everyone knows we made the bet.
Will he decline to bet and admit that his optimism is manufactured since he knows Johnson doesn’t have a chance in heck to win the election? Or will he take the bet and make me an easy $20?
It’d be great if everybody reading this could message him and urge him to take me up on the bet.
