rightbehindsisyphus asked: So the only way there was a first cause had to be out of space and time? What caused that? There does have to be a first cause, you are correct. but the one that is being proven and observed is one of natural cause, not from outside of space and time. Your god cannot be proven. It's being proven that our universe came from nothing. What happens when science proves your beliefs wrong? will you ignore truth? or will you chance your beliefs?
You just said that the universe (everything) came from nothing. Think about that for a while. The only way that is possible is if the universe itself is a god; if the universe was and is so powerful that it can exist outside of time in order for it to create itself. That’s your god. This is why I always contend that very few atheists are actually atheists. The Big Bangers believe in a different god: the Universe, peace be upon it.
