Anonymous asked: Can you give me a brief (as brief as possible, at least) rundown on the economy, Obama's economic plan, and Romney's economic plan and taxes and all that jazz? How the two compare, why you personally think one is better than the other, the consequences (good and bad) of both, you know... Sorry this sounds like a high school homework question but I'm really uneducated about the government's relation to money and I want to be more informed, and you seem very into this kind of stuff !
Obamacare is a giant tax on the middle class, as declared by the Supreme Court. Romney wants to cut taxes for everybody. Business owners, big and small, say the biggest hindrance to their hiring people is the government, particularly Obamacare, but also taxes. Obama has created a hostile environment for business owners, which is why unemployment has been as high as it is. (The 7.8 number is misleading; it only dropped down that low because so many people stopped looking for work entirely, and those people are not included in the unemployment numbers, even though they are unemployed.)
