I honestly don’t know what role the government plays in enforcing visitation policy on hospitals, but if it plays any role at all, I want it out. The solution for a problem is not to spread the problem (such as by getting the government involved in MORE people’s lives), but to eliminate the problem (such as eliminating the government from dictating to private businesses, like hospitals, what its policies must be). So become a conservative and beseech the government to get smaller. Then you’ll have more freedom.
