Choice for Its Own Sake Leads to Another Gosnell

Let not Kermit Gosnell be the sole face of the horror that is abortion. Gosnell is one man out of an unknown number in a horde who are, no more and no less, killers of babies born and unborn. A majority of these savages will never face punishment for the crimes against humanity they are guilty of, much less be charged. Gosnell is one exception against whom justice was served. Douglas Karpen will hopefully be the next.

No claim can be made that a right-wing conspiracy is in the works against Karpen. Just as happened in the case of Gosnell, Karpen has been accused by his own former employees—no right-wing pro-lifers are they. These four women allege that the practice of delivering live babies and then snipping the spinal cords in their neck was not a unique fetish of Gosnell, but a practice which Karpen did regularly as well.

But that is not the limit of his barbarism. “Sometimes he couldn’t get the fetus out…[and] he would yank pieces, piece by piece, when they were oversize,” said Deborah Edge, one of Karpens accusers.

This is called “choice.”

Karpen also—if you have weak stomachs, skip this paragraph—“twist[ed] their heads off their necks with his own bare hands.”

Choice.

Edge also said that she and Karpen’s other assistants “used to look at each other and sometimes our tears would come out with the other assistants. We would always think, ‘He’s so greedy.’”

Greed is the least of what is the matter with Karpen and his fellow pro-choicers. It is often said that, at the core of its ideology, the pro-choice movement seeps with a disrespect for life. We can see this exemplified when Karpen’s assistant refer to human babies with the dehumanizing pronoun “it.” “When he did an abortion,” said Edge, “…most of the time the fetus would come completely out before he either cut the spinal cord or he introduced one of the instruments into the soft spot of the fetus in order to kill it” (emphasis my own). If a fetus comes “completely out,” there is no justification for calling him an “it.” “It” is a newborn human baby.

Disrespect for life may have been fundamental to the pro-choice movement’s establishment, and while it certainly still is, it has devolved into an outright disdain for life. This is why we don’t see pro-choice activists encouraging women to choose to give birth, but instead to visit Planned Parenthood to have them inform the mothers-to-be of the rates for different abortion packages. (Exterminate one twin, snuff the second for half-price.)

The encouragement of choice independent of moral considerations over the encouragement of the ethical, righteous choice has contributed to this hatred of life. When choice for its own sake is portrayed as a virtue, it necessarily categorizes the opposite point of view—the anti-choice but pro-human point of view—as an evil.

Thus are born all the Gosnells and the Karpens and the other, everyday pro-choicers.

“He gave no respect for those fetuses. He was only supposed to destroy them and grind up their remains in an industrial garbage disposal, like a normal abortion clinic.”
You realize a born fetus is not a fetus, right? The moment it passes the threshold of the vagina, magic happens and the fetus turns into a baby.
You know who else didn’t “respect” their “fetuses”? The mothers.
[EDIT: Some conservatives didn’t realize my sarcasm, so let me explain: I was being sarcastic with the “magical” remark. Liberals think that it’s only a baby AFTER birth, which would mean that some form of magic happens at the moment of birth. I was being sarcastic.]

If Kermit Goznell….

talkstraight:

…ripped live puppies out of their mothers, slit their throats, severed their spinal cords, danced with them while they were alive before killing them and kept their severed body parts as souvenirs….would liberals care then?

They’d call for the death penalty for Gosnell, just as they did when Michael Vick tortured dogs. Effing sick hypocrites.

Thanks for the question. I’m not talking about regulating abortion or making it tougher to get one. I’m talking about outlawing it (with the exceedingly and increasingly rare exception to save the life of the mother). Bad people will still be able to do it illegally (just as bad people will use guns to kill no matter what). But doing the same thing for guns—restricting, outlawing, what have you—will make it harder for good guys to have guns. I make no claim that outlawing abortion will eliminate abortion; but it will make it less desirable for women to get them, and certainly harder. They’d still have the choice, though, just as everybody right now has the choice to make meth in his garage. If we outlaw abortion, only outlaws with commit them. But that’s better than the situation we have now. On the other hand, if we outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns; and that’s a worse situation than we have now. Plus, guns, unlike abortion, are not inherently evil. A good, fair question, though.

Kermit Gosnell Is the Pro-Choice Movement

Many Americans, under the careful indoctrination of our youth by campaigning through the glamours of popular culture, have grown up with a troubling disrespect for life, that most beautiful of all miracles.

Kermit Gosnell, who delivers babies into toilets, slits their necks, and severs their spinal cords, is not the only barbarian in the pro-choice movement; Kermit Gosnell is the pro-choice movement. Every single one of his customers, each and every mother whose body is taking care of another person’s body that she chose to allow in there in the first place, is a barbarian.

Gosnell’s operating room has been described as a house of horrors with dirty instruments and blood and feces everywhere. In every article I’ve read about it, there is always concern—sometimes only a hint of it and sometimes distinct—for the women terminating the lives of their babies. This is completely unwarranted. When Person A holds a victim still so that Person B can kill him, are we concerned for the safety of Person A? Women who kill their defenseless babies, who embody the very essence of innocence, deserve whatever consequences they get in the process.

It is such a crock what liberals are saying: “If we outlawed abortion, this is what would happen.” Bull! Abortion is legal and this is what happened. When we elect politicians with a godless disrespect for life, we elect for the creation of more Gosnells. If abortion were illegal, it would be a lot harder for such psychopaths to operate such a business. And if abortion is illegal and a mother goes to an abortionist who is willing to do this illegally, and he performs poorly or his instruments are unsanitary, and the mother winds up contracting a disease or a slight miscalculated movement renders her effectively hysterectomized, so be it. It was her choice. She chose to have the abortion.

It is true that there will never be a shortage of evil, barbaric, inhumane people no matter how many of their actions we outlaw. We can diminish the murder rates of pre-born babies, but we can never stop them all.

There will always be, for example, women like Cherlie Lefleur of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who decided she could commit Gosnell’s deeds all on her own by delivering her fetus-magically-turned-baby into a toilet bowl and, when he wouldn’t flush, throwing him away in the trash can.

She chose; a baby was put to death. There’s your pro-choice movement.

Summary of Kermit Gosnell’s Abortion Mill

Here’s a summary of the grand jury report on Kermit Gosnell’s Women’s Medical Center, sure to give all liberals reading it a massive case of the hornies:

Over nearly 300 pages, the report tells of a fetid, malodorous, blood-and-feces splattered clinic stocked with rusted, stained, and broken equipment. Of fetal remains stuffed everywhere—in refrigerators, milk jugs, cat-food boxes, and even a bizarre collection of several fetal feet displayed in jars. Of medical-waste-filled boxes leaking blood onto the floor. Of unwashed and contaminated medical instruments spreading disease. Of third-term live births cut short after Gosnell or associates would “snip” them at the neck to “ensure fetal demise.” Of one baby delivered into a toilet and thrashing around so that it appeared to be “swimming,” whereupon it was lifted from the commode and had its neck slit. Of one baby whose weight was estimated at six pounds, whereupon Gosnell reportedly “joked” that it was big enough to “walk me to the bus stop.” Of him also joking as one baby writhed while he slit its neck, “that’s what you call a chicken with its head cut off.”
Enjoy that, liberals, you fuckers. When you elect anybody who isn’t against abortion, you elect this.

News Print Article | Email Friend | Reprint Permissions Abortion Clinic Workers Refuse To Help Mother Screaming to Save Live Child

No matter how sound our fiscal policies become, this nation will not survive when things like this are allowed to occur:

Angele, a single mother in her thirties with two children, thought that abortion was the answer to her circumstances. At almost 23 weeks gestation, she entered the EPOC Clinic in Orlando, Florida. Little did she realize that the next day she would give birth to a live, perfectly healthy boy whom she named Rowan. Cradling Rowan’s moving body, her screams for help were ignored by abortion clinic workers while her son took his last breath.

The clinic is known for late-term abortions and its well-known founder, Dr. James Pendergraft. A few years ago he served time in a federal prison regarding an alleged scheme to extort the city of Ocala, Florida by means of his other abortion clinic in that city.

On April 1, Angele was given Valium and laminaria were inserted in her cervix to begin dilation. She was told to return the following day. On April 2, Angele took prescribed medicine to induce labor. Cramping and crying, she went to the clinic and knocked repeatedly on the door. Eventually someone came and directed her to a room that had dried blood on the wall. She was given a blanket that was still wet. She began to bleed and go into labor. Despite her cries, no one assisted her. After one hard push, the baby was born, fully intact and definitely alive. Angele said, “His right leg moved. He curled up a bit, like he was cold; I screamed but no one came.” She pleaded for the clinic workers to call 911 but they did not.

Angele caressed and comforted her son by rubbing his back, tummy and chest. “I stroked his precious little head and kept telling him I loved him and we would be okay,” she said. Still no one came to help. Eventually Angele, holding the baby still attached to the umbilical cord, ran to get her cell phone. Help did not arrive in time. Rowan took his last breath. “After a few minutes I realized for certain that he was gone. I picked up my son. I held him to my chest. I rocked him and prayed. I could not stop crying,” said Angele. “I felt so bad. I felt so helpless. I had been so wrong to come here … I wanted to fix and change everything once I saw Rowan’s precious little face and body. All we needed was someone to get us to safety,” Angele said.

Ah, an exception to the rule! Always nice to find.
Whether something “seems” like something does not make it BE that something. If you relied less on emotion and more on thought, you’d be hard-pressed to call yourself a liberal any longer.
The quarantine would only work in theory, not in practice, because it couldn’t be enforced.
Without there BEING any STDs, there would BE no fear of unprotected sex. Other than abortion, but that’s considered a form of birth control these days by liberals. Heck, young liberals even hold abortion parties—whoever can pull their baby apart into the most pieces wins a gift bag.

"Abortion supporters can’t make up their minds. One minute abortion is just like having a mole removed and really ‘no big deal.’ The next minute, abortion is an emotional and traumatic decision. I don’t know why they think it would be emotional. I mean, it’s just like removing a piece of unwanted tissue. What could be traumatic about that?? Its not like you are killing a baby!! Hypocrisy at its finest."
