That’s what a college professor did. Because college professors are objective and encourage diversity of opinion. Or something.

What is the state of higher education here in this glorious nation of ours?
Let this excerpt from a Miami CBS affiliate provide you with the essence of academia:
Ryan Rotella, a junior from Coral Springs, said the incident began when his professor, Dr. Deandre Poole, asked students in the class to write the word “Jesus” on a piece of paper, fold it up, and step on it.
In case you have the, er, nuanced brain of a liberal, the subtle implication of this educational assignment is that Jesus is worthless.
The student is a Mormon, and being that Mormons and other followers of Jesus Christ have this weird religious respect for the Man-God Who saved them from eternal damnation, he refused to participate in the activity; that is, he refused to permit himself to be used as a tool with which the teacher could express his own personal animus towards Christianity.
It can be safely assumed that the teacher, Dr. Poole, is either an atheist, a liberal, a liberal atheist, or a Satanist, because, when the student refused, Poole hissed and backed into a corner, boils erupting all over his skin, shouting, “Out! Out! You’re suspended! Get out!”
At least that’s how I imagine it. Rotella was suspended, though, and something tells me it had nothing to do with his refusal to step on garbage for a pretentious teacher who thinks his lesson is about to blow everybody’s mind, and everything to do with his ability to think independently and resist the teacher’s coercive powers of indoctrination.
Hey, as long as this school, Florida Atlantic University, receives zero federal funding, I’m fine with allowing the teacher to preach whatever messages of intolerance and bigotry that he wants. But there’s no argument that can be made to convince a level-headed, fair-minded person that colleges are not a hotbed of liberal teaching and anti-Christian fascism.
I don’t know, maybe it’s not so big a deal. I mean, President Obama made clear in 2008, so that we didn’t get any wrong ideas about him, that he believes we are not, repeat, not a Christian nation, and how could we be so backwards as to believe otherwise? [source]
Nah, I still say good for Ryan Rotella for standing up to a fascist teacher and not abandoning his convictions. When Dr. Poole goes home at night, he can no longer look into the mirror and bellow triumphantly, “Sieg Heil!”
The failure of the public-education system, as demonstrated with a bag of Ruffles.
| Student: | Wow! I got the right answer to that math problem using a different method that makes much more sense to me! |
| Math teacher: | Wrong. Do it the way I taught you. |
feministrepublican: This is literally racial warfare on our children.
I so wish this were going on in my school back in the day, and that I had the wisdom back then that I do now. I can’t wait to be a parent. I’m gonna be a nightmare for his or her teachers. And then when I’ve made strong enough a point, I’m going to home-school my kid.

This is how our government schools – and the liberals who run them – effectively brainwash (though indoctrinate is a much more polite word) our children into accepting the liberal philosophy as basic truth.
Um……NO!
Is this real??
Looks real to me…
I just see math problems, which are distributive math problems. The girl with the money bag doesn’t even make sense.
It should make sense. Re-distribution of wealth (girl with money bag handing out money) = the “distributive” property. It like a hidden code for kids to embrace the liberal mindset of wealth distribution which counts as indoctrination.
Also, the little girl passing out money is not passing out her own money but a big bag of money-implying either she is rich or is in charge of distributing other people’s money.
And see the way she is smiling and is oh-so-happy to be distributing all this cash? See, kids, redistributing other people’s money (or even better-those evil rich people’s money) is fun!!!
And since when is property meant to be”distributive”?
Keyword being “wealth”.

As opposed to what, figuratively hoping I rot in hell? Of course you mean “literally”; that’s the only one that makes sense. You can’t figuratively hope for something.
What you should have said is you hope I literally rot in Hell, not that you literally hope I rot in Hell.
Public education, folks. This is what it has done to our youth.
Consent to sex is consent to
pregnancysexConsent to sex is consent to
pregnancysexConsent to sex is consent to
pregnancysexConsent to sex is consent to
pregnancysexConsent to sex is consent to
pregnancysexFixed that for you.
Not really. You just showed your lack of understanding and the complete absence of responsibility in your mindset. If you don’t think consenting to sex is consenting to the possibility of pregnancy you are absolutely not ready for sex.
Be gentle on her. She probably attended a public high school and, such as public education is, is not aware of the most basic biological concepts: namely, that pregnancy is a result of sex.
I was recently on a political forum online, hoping to enjoy a fun debate with some unlucky liberal. While there, I was witness to another debate being had between a conservative and a liberal, though it cannot exactly be called a debate; is it fair to characterize a conversation as a debate when one of the participants is so ignorant, she probably is not even aware of her surroundings? So while it never quite crossed over into debate territory, the fun I sought was certainly had.
It all started with a liberal saying that free birth control is a constitutional right, followed by the conservative asking, “What part of the Constitution are you referring to?”
The liberal, who went by the username Black_Manta, replied, “The part where it talks about liberty.”
Ah, yes, that part. I believe it was Chapter 2 she was referring to.
Conservative: Are you trying to be dumb on purpose?
Liberal: You have rights, yes?
Conservative: Free birth control is not a constitutional right.
Liberal:It’s about health and happiness, i.e., constitutional rights.
Conservative: Health isn’t in the Constitution. The Constitution specifically protects my right to keep and bear arms. That doesn’t mean that you have to buy my bullets.
Liberal: Yes, health is in the Constitution.
Conservative:Copy and paste the paragraph.
Liberal: Google it, lazy.
The conservative, no doubt experiencing the frustration one would feel when debating a tree stump, tries again.
Conservative: Receiving free birth control isn’t a constitutional right.
Liberal: Sure it is.
Conservative: Link it and copy and paste the specific paragraph.
Liberal: You don’t know we have a Constitution? Are you a Communist?
At this point a second conservative enters the scene and inquires, “Birth control is a constitutional right?”
To which the liberal quite simply and astutely responds, “Liberty.” She belongs in MENSA, this lady.
That’s when I left the forum. I had had enough laughter for one evening; my sides were hurting.
This is the idiocy we conservatives have to deal with; this is the danger we must deal with: people who are not simply lying, but who genuinely believe in things that are obvious fictions.
The good news is that all it should take to remedy the situation is to educate the masses. The bad news is that for all of public schooling’s efforts, liberals seem truly ineducable.
Parents, avoid public education at all costs. Leave state-sponsored education to the government-loving liberals.
flutterjedi asked: The quality of modern education? It's absolutely terrible! People are getting into college without the ability to read, write, and perform basic math. I'm not exaggerating at all. I have seen many people in my college that lack these abilities. A friend of mine told me that people in his American Literature class don't even know who Squanto was and can't pronounce simple words.
College admittance is now based on skin color, not brain size. :-\
Obama signed an executive order (something liberals hated when Bush did it) that creates school rules that in essence suspend whites and Asians for things that blacks won’t get suspended for, all in the name of some twisted definition of fairness.
