76-Year-Old on Medicare Is Denied Monthly Shot because of Obamacare Costs

Today, I went to the Doctor for my monthly B12 shot that I have been getting for a number of years. The nurse came and got me, got the needle filled and ready to go, then looked at the computer and got very quiet and asked if I was prepared to pay for it. I said no, that my insurance takes care of it. She said that Medicare had turned it down and went to talk to my doctor about it. Fifteen minutes later she came back and said she was sorry, but they had tried everything they could and Medicare is beginning to turn away many things for seniors because of the projected Obamacare costs coming in.

Anonymous asked: If everyone is "forced" to get insurance through Obamacare it will actually reduce the cost of insurance and medical bills. And really, everyone is to blame for high costs. Because so few can afford health care, the price is increased. To save money, those that are uninsured go through the ER, which wastes hospital resources and room and time for patients that are insured. So they have to charge the insured more, which means insurance prices are raised. If all three worked together we'd be fine.

Hahahahaha! Oh, you precious child.

Anonymous asked: From what I've seen so far by researching these Christian insurance groups, they only help other Christians, so if you believe in anything else, you're out of luck. Now how do these insurance companies help these members? They all pay into it and the wealth is shared around to people who need it that are also in the group of insured. But wait... That sounds a bit like Obamacare! Why should your money in a Christian based group help someone other than you? That's selfish.

That’s also voluntary. Obamacare isn’t.

Anonymous asked: The question is: What would be your ideal health care system that would work for everyone (quality healthcare and not force people into bankruptcy (you have to admit that $150,000 for a life saving surgery is too high, right?) because they go to a doctor when they need to)?

Get health insurance. There are Christian-based health-insurance companies that are super-cheap and don’t engage in immoral behavior.

Also, allow the purchase of health insurance across state lines so that competition increases and thus the price goes down significantly. Obama refuses to allow this, even though it would make health care affordable.

Also, stop allowing frivolous lawsuits. Health care is so expensive here because doctors do unnecessary tests to cover their butts in case some lawsuit-happy liberal wants to complain that the doctor didn’t do everything he could to help so-and-so. So now doctors do every single test imaginable, ever procedure imaginable, just to avoid lawsuits. This makes healthcare expensive. Fixing this is called tort reform. Obama refuses to allow this as well. Because the point of Obamacare is not to make health care affordable (it’s not affordable; it’s not free; you have to buy it); the point of Obamacare is control and power.

Anonymous asked: Medical billing in the United States is corrupt. People have to choose between bankrupting themselves to save their own life or dying.

Yeah, it’s much better to receive lesser-quality care and bankrupt the entire country than to receive the best care in the world and have only one person (you) be broke for a while. We must all suffer together!

20,000 pages of regulations of Obamacare.

Yep, this Obamacare thing’s going to be a real success.

If I didn’t live here, I’d put that GIF here of Michael Jackson eating popcorn in a movie theater.

Well it can’t be blamed on the company’s cheapness. A business is in the business of making money so that it can expand and continue to provide services to a growing customer base. A business is not a charity; it doesn’t provide jobs for the sake of the jobless; it provides jobs in return for making money from that employee’s work. It is in the company’s best interest to cut everybody’s hours to avoid paying the Obamacare fine. Otherwise they company will be draining money and eventually go out of business, thus hurting EVERYONE at the company. So you gotta pick: shortened hours, or no job at all?

What Obamacare did for me
I thought it would be great, free health insurance, then I got a job. Boss says 28 hours a week is all they are offering now because over 30 requires insurance. Great, 30% pay cut right off the bat. But it gets better. My 28 hour week gives me about $18,000 a year which is too much for any government insurance. So now by law I have to buy my own ($5000) or pay a fine. I’m fucked and every year the fine goes up. So what I thought was a sweet deal turned into an ass fucking. Thanks Obama, I wonder how many people like me turn 27 and find out you screwed us?

Welcome to reality, unfiltered by the media, unspun by the Democrats.
